What if, in another universe, I deserve you?
Hear me out. There’s this philosopher from the 1890s named William James, and he coined this theory about “the multiverse” which suggests that a hypothetical set of multiple universes comprises everything that can possibly exist…

You know how there’s this trend that songs that repeat a certain line make the charts? (RACK CITY BITCH.)
Well for this one, it works and Pitbull is involved with We Run The Night by Havana Brown. Australians and The UK are taking over the airwaves. Hello Gotye, 1D. Be my fans plz.
First time I’ve ever seen him get involved with a woman who has a Rack Street, not city. If you know what I mean.
Whatever, don’t mind me. Hit the play button.

Nervous Smile
My dad took this photo of me. It’s not my favorite photo of me, in terms of how I look. But I’m not going to upload a photo of me, during my race, where I’m standing still and just smiling. No. I want a candid photo. A photo that captures my true feelings. A photo that captured that moment. Here is that photo.
Around 7.58am, before the horn of my wave, the fastest swimmers were told to stay at the front of the pack. A girl who I attended a training camp with took me gently by my arm and nervously said, “oh, kat. dito ka nalang sa harap ko. mabilis ka, eh.” I shook my head and said, “oh, no. I’m not fast!” My blood was rushing. I wanted to stay in the back, where i’d be safe from the pulling of some of the extremely competitive women. I was about to move back, when one of the Philippine’s fastest female swimmers, Coach Betsy (a friend of my team and the coach of my boyfriend’s team) smiled at me and said, “no, dear. you stay beside me. you’ll be one of the first ones out. i know it.” I looked ahead of me at that race course. You know what you are capable of, but out of fear, and to avoid disappointment, we doubt what we know. This was that moment. The swim was long, and very intimidating, but my training told me that I would be able to do this, and that I would be able to do it fast. However, my mind was telling me otherwise. Then she said, as if she read my mind, “don’t doubt.” The next thing I knew, Rick’s voice boomed through the megaphone, “ladies, I leave you to the sound of the race official’s horn! Take your marks…”
A loud horn blasts through the horizon, cutting through the tension that filled the air. I ran forward, dove and swam. With each stroke, I could feel myself glide forward, faster and faster, passing the people who ran past me and dove in first. By the time some people reached the drop off, they began slowing down out of fear. Not me. The water is my home. There is nothing in these waters that I fear, and nothing in these waters that will hurt me, I thought. Minutes passed. I had rounded the buoys and was now making my way back to shore. A few minutes later, I saw the ground. I was less than five hundred meters from the shore. It became shallower and shallower. As I got closer, I looked up more to see how close I was to the shore. When it was right in front of me, I stood up, and ran to the showers. I heard my boyfriend scream, “you’re the second one out Kat! Go! Go! Go!” I smiled to myself, proud. The mind is powerful. I’ve been told that being a triathlete makes you somewhat superhuman, because your body is pushing itself to limits that it was not built for, but your mind, something inside you, pushes you and tells you to go. If your mind can do this, then it can also scare you and deceive you. My dad once said to me, “don’t believe in your doubts, and never doubt your beliefs.” These words are golden.
Guess what? I got my results yesterday morning. I was the fastest swimmer of the Sprint race.
Kat, this is so beautiful! I teared up! Congrats, love! See you in a few days! :)
Date A Girl Who Takes Photographs
Date a girl who takes photographs. She is that person who fell in love with her camera because it captures her favorite moments in life and due to the sound of the shutter that is appealing to her ears.
Find that someone who is always in action getting a photograph of the most interesting subject. She captures every moment, one at a time. And whenever she sees someone else’s photograph, she appreciates it, because she understands all of the hardwork being put on a single shot.
Take her out and make her bring her camera. Let her take photos of you and just laugh your heart out. Give her the best subject that she can get out of you, then she’ll start to appreciate you more.
Find that someone who appreciates everything and appreciate they way she imagines everything to be in a photograph. Take her out to lunch or to a romantic dinner and understand her need to photograph what you ordered, for it is her passion.
Change your Facebook photo to one of her photos of you, for she silently hoped for it.
Don’t hesitate to take stolen shots of her or give her camera accessories or camera related stuff for her birthday. She’ll appreciate them more than anything else.
Date a girl who takes photographs, that someone who will make you see the the beauty of things that are deemed to be nothing to most people. Everyday will be an adventure, as she tries to capture every single moment shared between the both of you.
Hi. I haven’t posted anything in days because this week has been really, really busy. I’m heading out now for a meeting with my new manager (on a Sunday), but here’s my video from the MYX VJ Search 2012 auditions that I went to yesterday! I am slightly unhappy with it, because I was overly nervous facing a camera, but please tell me what you think! Criticize me, if you must. Results come out in June. I am still hoping to be given a chance. See ya <3
P.S. I sang a bit somewhere in this video.
